Phones leak through Handset when headset plugged in

Hi,

We have an issue users are using Headsets on 7940 phones the voice is coming out the handset as well.

Upgraded to latest firmware 7.2 (2) still same issue.

CM version 4.1 2 any know bugs for this or engineering special ?

This is normal behavior for the phones. It is simply how the hardware is designed.

Thats strange I have never seen this before in the last 6 years.

The question then is why have TAC said they will replace all phones in this particular office ?

We received one new phone had it tested same story..

Sounds like some crossed wires at Cisco on this one.
