Problem in adding IEC 4650(ver 2.5) Device in IEM 2.6

Hi,

I am trying to add IEC 4650 with 2.5 firmare in IEM 2.6.

I have followed the below steps to add the device.

1) After powering and connecting the IEC, I added the device in IEM, the status of the IEC device is OFF.

2) I tried to change the IEC from Stand-alone mode to mode to Managed mode, but I failed to do so as it says "http connection refused.".

from this i understand that http connection to IEM 2.6 is not allowed .

3) I am able to ping  from IEC to IEM and IEM to IEC as well.

I have few questions regarding this.

Will this problem be solved if I upgrade IEC firmware from 2.5 to 2.6?

Did you ever solve this. I have the same issue.

[Updated] it's ok, i found the solution was to turn on a setting in IEM under Maintenance > Server Settings > Device gateway enabled = Yes
