is there an application that can be used with Callmanager to send SMS via GSM gateway to external mobile phone

Hello,

Haven't seen one, but it can be developed by the integration of CIPS and WIN32 application.

CIPS part would XML based services for IP Phones and WIN32 part would be used to communicate with GSM gateway, and in this way messages tranmitted to IP Phones could also be forwarded to the users' mobile phones which is really useful.

Easiest way is to send an email to the corresponding phone number. Most cell companies provide an email alias for SMS, i.e 1234567890@att.com goes as SMS to the number 1234567890.
