One of our director's has been complaining his laptop is unbearably slow. I've investigated and found that if the laptop is connected directly to the server it's fine but if it's connected through the phone it's so slow as to be unworkable.
I've tested changing phones, leads and headsets and it makes no difference.

Maybe you have diffrent settings fot half/full/auto duplex on swith, phone and PC?
check it.

I had a similar problem once, and it turned out to be the QOS settings were too strict on the data vlan. Are you using any QOS on the switch/port?
