SMDI, CCM and FXS in a router

Is it possible to use FXS ports in a router for SMDI integration between a CCM and a 3rd-party VM system? All I see in the docs are instructions for VG248.

Not sure how to get things working with your VM system. However, for any system with which you want to use Cisco Messaging Interface (for SMDI), you can use any MGCP controlled FXS ports. In other words, and FXS endpoints that you can put into a Route Group
