Home site has CM3.1. Remote site is connected with gig using different vlans back to 6509 for voice and data. Remote site has 2620 with (12.2.2xb). I have default gateway on DHCP for for phones pointing to 2620 for remote survivability. This makes the router hang completely without being able to console into it. I have to cold boot to reset. The customer has is using the router for internet access as well and cannot have these outages. Any clues?

If I am not mistaken you need to be using 12.1.5YD3 for SRST. That is the only image that supports SRST as of now. 12.2.7T is the next image that will have SRST feature set, however it is not out yet.

12.2.2xb is the recommended IOS with a 2600series router. Although I have tried all versions of ios from 1.5Yd1 - 2.2xb and they all have the same effect so I don't think the ios is the issue.

Sorry about that. You are correct. How much RAM do you have in the router. SRST is memory intensive.

I am running SRST at a remote site. I am using a 2610 with IOS 12.1.5YD4. It needs 48M of RAM to operate. Hope this helps.

Are you running MGCP? Today, it is my understanding that SRST and MGCP are NOT supported in any version of released code. H.323 and SRST is what is supported.

NO I am running h.323. I have 64m of mem in the router as well. Do you know if 12.1-5.YD5 supports MOH?
