Hi,

I have a question about SRST. Is there a way to determine the particular phones on the IP network that will register with the router. The issue I have is that I have more phones than the router can support and besides, I have just the minimum requirements (16 MB flash and 64 MB RAM on a 2600).

I will like the reception and executives only to register with the router using SRST.

Any ideas, anyone?

On your phone properties page, at the bottom is an option called SRS Telephony. It should be disabled if the person will not have access or enabled for your receptionist and executives.

Thanks a lot for the tip. I never thought it would be that simple. I thought I would have to configure something in the IOS. Amazing how the solution can be right under your nose and you won't even notice it,
