Symbol-Netvision phones - CCM 3.3.2 spC/ Aironet 350 - Not Associated

Hi!

We have recently upgraded to 3.3.2 spC from CCM 3.1.2 and now our Netvision phones no longer associate. Is there a new skinny client out there? What's the approved Aironet load? I looked on Symbol's site and the last word is from January 2002...

Hi,

We had a similar problem at a customer of us.

In the past(early 2003) Symbol had some information on the site about CCM 3.3.2.

We built the CCM 3.3.2 with NetVisions. This didn't work, we asked Symbol and they said that it wasn't supported yet.

(Customer has got Symbol Access points)

We had to downgrade our CCM to v3.1.4spB.

Please ask Symbol if the firmware is already available.

It seems that there's new test firmware available.

Hi!

Symbol called back and the answer is no... They have a firmware version of beta Version 3.71-03 that at least boots the phone but is very, very buggy.. I guess they are having all sorts of issues and don't have a timeframe of when it will be resolved..
