The SQL Patch

Hi

I have installed the CCM 4.01

but I meet the problem.

the step to install the CCM

1. Disk 1 OS detect

2. Disk 3 Windows

3. Upgrade the window to 2000.2.6

4. install the CCM4.01, SQL and cisco directory by CCM new install disk.

5. Install the SQL-2k-MS03-031.exe

6. Install the CCm4.01sr2a.

The Subscriber also is same step to install.

however, I Install the CCM4.01sr2a, an error msg occurs,

DB Layer does not connected. Exit the process.

I don't know what's problem occur.

Some document say i cannot install the SQL-2k-MS03-031.exe Because the SQL is 8.00.818 version.

Is it the problem ??

If that is a problem, How i can uninstall ?

Hope you are doing the installation first on the Publisher and then on the subscriber. Following this order is very important. I am sure you would be knowing this but just in case.

Thank your suggestion.

However, I have accorded all the step of installing Publisher. I completed to install the last step, install the SR2a. And then, I install the Subscriber to connect it. I think the process is right. Also, I just connect two server in a HUB. So I think That is not a network issue.
