In order to match outbound dial peers, the router or gateway uses the destination-pattern dial peer command.
On Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) dial peers, the port command is then issued to forward the call.
On Voice-Network dial peers, the session target command is then issued to forward the call.
When outbound peers are matched, the user must consider Direct Inward Dial (DID) cases as well as non-DID.
