Unity 3.1.4 install. incorrect password on unity service account during set

I'm getting the incorrect password error massage during the Unity setup that is run after the main install and reboot.

I've read about similar errors in this newsgroup. I re-ran the permissions wizard that is found on CCO but still no luck.

The unity server is W2K, EX2000, SQL. It is a member server in active directory. I can log in at the console as the service user with no problem.

I've tried everything that is listed in past posts, but I cant get it to work.,

Is there anyway to work around this issue ?
