Customer with new ccm 6.1 cluster with uc 2.1.
Patched uc 2.1 with es to fix memory leak related to imap features which would kill the server after about a month, but voicemail quality is pretty bad, and apparently has been since install. Voicemails sound like there is gain applied at random times, during pauses or during speech. This causes swells and large rises in background noise. We have reduced the agc settings and determined that this happens on both internal and external calls. G711 used everywhere- no xcoding, no network issues (obvious ones), but problem persists and easy to demonstrate. Anyone else see this? These issues are not evident on calls, or even prompts, but in voicemail recordings and even some greetings. Switch ports are clean, server is 100/full. There are no memory or hdd issues evident by rtmt, phones/unityconnection/ccm are all on same subnet- single site no wan. Phones show no jitter or drops.
Any further ideas?
