upgradeing ccm 333 to ccm412

We are going to upgrade CCM333 cluster to CCM412. It looks CCM4 has a lot changed,like line group, hunt pilot which are not in CCM333. After upgrade, do we have to manully change some configuration? Thanks

Hi,

Its better to upgrade Call Manager 3.3.3 to 3.3.4 and then from 3.3.4 to 4.1(2). This is the recommended way as Cisco hadnt fully certified upgrading 3.3.3 directly to 4.1(2)

Also you dont have to manually do any change in the line group, hunt pilot and stauff like that.

Hi, I did this sevaral times.

As Arijit had said that is the most trouble free method. Every thing will work smooth.

dwnld ciscocm-ffu.3-3-4 and upgrade the 333 to 334.

then upgrade OS SR4(2000-2-6sr4) and SQL SR3 (sql2k-sp3.1-0-5) and install MCSBackupsystem 4.0.6 and backup a config (for safe side) then directly update the ver 3.3.4 ccm to ver 4.1.2.
