VG224 - How to determine if device connected via SNMP

Is it possible to determine if there is phone/fax connected to a port on VG224 via SNMP ?

To clarify the question, I mean even if the phone is sitting there unused. I know you can see call activity, but if the phone is connected and never used, can you actually determine via SNMP that the device is connected.
