What else is needed with an SS7/C7 card?

Hi all,

We are in the process of implementing an ICM Hosted Edition platform for one of our customers and I?m hoping someone with some experience in the NAM environment can clarify a few questions around the INAP Gateway connection to the network.

Summary of the design (network diagram also attached but does not show lab):

40 E1?s

10 SS7/C7 cards

2 op sites (16 E1?s each)

1 lab site (8 E1?s)

5 INAP Gateways (2 on each op site and 1 in the lab)

2 cards in each INAP gateway box

I?m in the process of making an order for the SS7/C7 cards (Product # ICM-3V3-S7) and need to clarify what else needs purchased to get connection to the Network:

Which cable (Cisco product #)?

Can they terminate Male/Female?

Anything else we need to order?

As a Cisco technology and Integration partner we normally rely on our IPT for this type of information, but for some reason they don?t know ;)

Several NAM deployment options are available depending on the services to be offered and the level of fault tolerance required. The options are:

1) Network deployment.

2) Premises deployment.

3) Service node deployment.
