I have two 5548's running 5.03, we have to fex 2248's that are in production. We added two fexes.
Hardware
cisco Nexus5548 Chassis ("O2 32X10GE/Modular Universal Platform Supervisor")
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU with 8299528 kB of memory.
Processor Board ID FOC15296QGG
Device name: inf-as026b-cwy-1201-f64
inf-as026b-cwy-1201-f64#
inf-as026b-cwy-1201-f64# sh fex 103
FEX: 103 Description: FEX0103 state: Image Download
FEX version: 5.1(3)N2(1b) [Switch version: 5.0(3)N1(1c)]
pinning-mode: static Max-links: 1
Fabric port for control traffic: Eth1/13
Fabric interface state:
Po103 - Interface Up. State: Active
Eth1/13 - Interface Up. State: Active
Eth1/14 - Interface Up. State: Active
Looks like the fex's that will not come online continue to "look for download satellite" for the existing 5.1.(3) code and can't find.
The 5548's are runing 5.0.(3) code. How do I force the 2k's to download the correct code? Or do the 2248's not support below 5.1.3 code?

Thank you all for reviewing, I found the answer in the FAQ's of the fex module.
What software version introduces support for Nexus 2248TP-E?
Nexus 2248TP-E is supported by the Cisco Nexus 5000 Series starting from the Cisco NX-OS 5.1(3)N1(1) Fair haven release. EFT has started and there has been a tremendous interest from the field.
So, we need to get off the old 5.0(3) code.
Thanks
