C240M4S shows KDB: enter panic

We have a C240M4S server after upgrading the CIMC of the server,We installed FreeNAS in it, But while loading the system. it goes to KDB:Enter panic mode.

Can someone help us out ?

I am inclined to think that is an issue with the OS/kernel.

I'm not sure what procs you have (i.e. V3, V4), but I would confirm your FreeNAS supports the Procs and chipsets, along with storage controller, etc.

FreeNAS is not a tested or supported OS on UCS hardware, so you won't find much reference to it on the Cisco forums.

I would suggest posting on the FreeNAS forums for support for FreeNAS.

Thanks for the details. Will give a try now. However i have raised a RMA request for this. Let's see how it goes through.

TAC will generally not RMA hardware unless there is a validated reason to do so.

Running an unsupported OS, will likely generate a request to run the diag iso, or test install a supported OS (i.e. Redhat, CentOS, etc) on the HCL
