Say I have an existing HX cluster with VMware with following networks configured (Standard virtual switch):
- Storage Controller Data Network (VLAN 6)
- Storage Controller Management Network/ESXi Management (VLAN 4)
- vMotion (VLAN 5)
- Guest VM Networks (VLAN 101 and 101)
Now I need to change #2&3 above to different VLANs and subnets...I understand the vMotion one should be relatively easier to change but I am concerned about changing #2...I do plan to turn off the cluster for the change.
Anyone has experience of such tasks and could help: Can this be done for an existing HX cluster? If so, what should be the proper order of operation and what level of impact there would be?
