is it possible to connect nexus 2k with nexus 9500 in traditional spanning tree network with dual homed topology. Each fex will connect to two nexus 9k switch. No vpc configured, only spanning tree to be used. Can some one confirm please.

Dual Homed 2K with 9K is not possible.
