Design of Nexus 7k with 2 vdc to nexus 5k

Hi all,

I have a pair of nexus 7k with 2VDCs. The 2 vdcs have their own vlans.(vlan A - vlan100 to 199 and vdc B -  vlan 200 - 299). I have another pair of n5k.

We are trying to do an enhanced vpc design with the 2vdcs to the pair of N5Ks. Would there be any problems or anything I should take note?

Should or must the 5ks be connected to the 7ks using double-sided vpc topology? Is it possible since the 7ks have 2 vdcs?

Hi Lim

The vdcs are isolated one from another - so in order to have a connectivity to both of them you iwll need to connect your n5k to each of them with separate link.
