Hi All,
We have Cisco Prime is reporting on Top N Temperature dashboard that Nexus switch is 42C which is above the data sheet operating temperature 40C for the Nexus device.
On the Nexus, there is no error logged and "show environment" output shows all temperature is OK. Switch operating normally (CPU usage >1% ; Memory usage 12%)
questions are:
- a. Which device is reporting the wrong temperature ?
b. Is this a cause for alarm?
c. Is this a bug on the Nexus or on the Prime? Nexus version is 6.2(10)
