How can i configure redundancy with this setup?

I have 4 nexus 9k switches.

Two are at one site and two are at the other connected by a single Layer 2 fiber connection. We're planning on adding BiDi transceivers so we can have two connections like below. what i want to know is if there's a better method of redundancy than STP.

Right now i only know of STP providing redundancy in case one of the switches fails. However, the convergence time takes a while, at least in GNS3 but there's a lot more factors to think about, and i was wondering if there were any better solutions to this.

We are not at this time able to make these into layer 3 connections. It isn't ideal i know. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you want to go with pure L2 solution, you can configure VPC. This will provider you better redundancy than STP alone. On the other hand, I would recommend that you go with something like VXLAN-EVPN. This way you can expand your L2 domain while leveraging ECMP capabilities of L3 underlay which can run between the N9ks.

Thanks
