Hyperflex node failure concern

I need to reboot a HX nodes for a new config to take effect. the thing is each memory of the nodes is almost full when you check each host in the vcenter (let's say 90% of the memory of each host is used)

The question is if I reboot the nodes 1 by 1;

-will the VMs on that node will migrate to the other 2 nodes (since it still says it can tolerate 1 node failure)?

-or the will the VMs will just shut down since the other nodes cannot accomodate the memory capacity of the VMs from the node that I rebooted?

If you are at super high memory utilization, then DRS will likely not auto move guestVms when you attempt to enter maint mode.

You are going to have to manually move guestVMs off of the node in question.  If you simply don't have enough free vram to go around,,, then you will have to shut some guestVms down.  Hopefully during your shutdown of the servers, you are adding DIMMs..
