Inter-vlan routing problem with vpc

Please can someone help me?!?

I have attached a picture of the topology.

Kit list:

cisco Nexus9000 93180YC-EX x2

cisco Nexus2000 N2K-C2348TQ x4

POC 1 is on vlan 228 192.168.228.11

POC 2 is on vlan 229 192.168.229.10

Both of these servers are unable to talk to each other. The VM server which is on vlan 230 is able to ping and connect to file shares on both POC 1 and POC 2. POC 1 and POC 2 are able to connect to both VMs. Im not sure what im missing here so can someone if possible help me please? Both Nexus switches can see both POC servers and can ping them with no problems. Both Servers are in Port-channels and they are both up and operational. Do I need to add an additional layer 3 link between the peers because of the vPC loop prevention mechanism?

Your thinking is correct. In a vPC mode it is best practice to have L3 separate links because of the way vPC handles traffic that is sees from POC1 over the vPC peer-link (except for syncing of tables) it will not be allowed down vPC member ports.
