Hi all,
we recently upgrade our two Nexus 3172T (forming a vPC) from 7.0(3)I4(6) to 7.0(3)I4(8) and we are periodically getting the following message on our logfile for both devices (not simultaneously):
2018 Jul 11 08:33:20 MK-N3K-2 Jul 11 08:33:19 %KERN-2-SYSTEM_MSG: [77108.297361] can_wait_specific_msg: Aborting call (SAP 38468, pid 5636). Another thread is also waiting for a specific msg. - kernel
I cannot find any related info on the matter. Has anyone seen this before?
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

Hello Katerina,
This looks similar to CSCvi80792.
Do you have DCNM / NMS / Script executing commands on these switches? You can try and correlate these kernel logs against the entries in the accouting logs (show accounting log).
It'd be better to open a Service Request with TAC / HTTS for thorough investigation.
Best Regards,
Santhosh

Hello,
we have contacted our support partner in order to open a TAC. We have DCNM and PI configured, so I will check if there is correlation between the scripts and the time the messages appear and update the post.
Thanks

Hello Santhosh,
at some point we upgraded to 7.0(3)I7(8). Since then we have not seen the same logs again.
Best regards,
Katerina

Hi Katerina,
Did you find out why these logs were showing up?
Thank you,
