The current 6.1 does not allow F2 Modules to enable GRE Tunnels. Does anyone know if this will be enabled in the next rev.?

Have a listen to this podcast about the new features to be released with 6.2.
You won't have long to wait to find out. According to Ron Fuller from Cisco it will be released at the end of this month.
