Hello Hardik,
NAT: The Cisco Nexus 3548 supports NAT in hardware, with no impact on latency. Three types of NAT are supported:
– Static Network Address Translation (SNAT) provides the option to configure static mapping between local and global IP addresses and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) ports.
– Dynamic Network Address Translation (DNAT) allows the user to establish 1 to 1 dynamic mappings between the local and global addresses by describing the local addresses to be translated and the pool of addresses from which to allocate global addresses and then associating the two.
– PAT provides a many to one option to map multiple IPv4 addresses to a fewer number of IPv4 addresses, using different TCP/UDP port numbers.
