Hi!
Recently we found native vlan misconfiguration on vPC Po trunk links:
- two double sided vPC Po between two VDCs within a pair of Nex7,7k
- one double sided vPC Po between a pair of Nex5,5k & pair of Nex7,7k
We got a task to clear this problem.
I took topo snippet, showing how it's connected. The red links are vPC Po trunks with native vlan defined (to be cleared):
The hard part of the problem it is that native vlan has to be the same on both Nexus switches linked together via vPC peer-link.
When I'll start to get rid of native vlan from these trunks, the switches will bring down the Po being configured (immediately I suppose).
While I'm not afraid with point no. 1 - where I can reconfigure port-channels one by one, the trouble is with N5,5k to N7,7k connection.
Any hints to do that not causing any traffic disruption?
Below I paste Po config on 2 N7,7k & 2 N5,5k
interface port-channel21
switchport
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan 475
switchport trunk allowed vlan 2-4094
spanning-tree port type network
vpc 21
Thanks in advance
