Nexus CPU high utilization

Hi All,

Recently  our nexus 5K swicthes CPU utilization is above 90% all the time and the process causing high utilization is carmelusd.

Please help in fixing the high CPU utilization issue.

Hi,

The carmelusd process will reprogram the carmel ASIC component in the switch whenver a change in network occurs like new ARP entry, host going offline etc.

I would recommend to watch the logs and monitor a period of time to isolate the issue.
