Nexus9000 C9272Q chassis | QSA support

Hello all,

I have a N9272Q and want to downgrade the 40G ports to 10G using the SFP+ Adapter (QSA) Module.

Link is up/up on the other side of the connection but "notconnected"

Ethernet1/31

    transceiver is present

    type is QSFP-Cazadero

    name is CISCO-DNI       

    part number is CAZADERO-R      

    revision is 03

    serial number is DTY204601DN     

    nominal bitrate is 10000 MBit/sec per channel

    cisco id is 13

    cisco extended id number is 155

(config-if)# speed-group 10000

ERROR: Ethernet1/31: Configuration does not match the port capability.

(config-if)# speed 10000

Speed is 10G, but the port doesn't support this speed

My question is -- is this supported configuration or breakout cabling is the only option to go?

Yes that is the only way to go

There is also a command to break the ports into 10G ports
interface breakout module 1 port 1-4 map 10g-4x
