Hi,
I have the latest version of the VIRL and GNS3 downloaded on 01/11/2017.
Please guide that how we can practice the OTV & vPC Lab in GNS3/VIRL?
Are these features supported in GNS3/VIRL?
Iam preparing for CCIE DC, if someone can guide that which DC technologies we can practice in VIRL/GNS3, that will help many of us.
Thanks,
Rizwan

For VIRL it looks like it’s supported on the CSR 1000v but not the Nexus 7k.
If I where you I would look into the following
https://ine.com/collections/ccie-data-center-training
Or search for CCIE DC Lab and you’ll get other options, but I used INE and that’s how I passed my DC lab.

Thanks Rick,
It seems Rack rental is only option for CCIE DC.
I have already bought the INE Ultimate Training Bundle.

That works on GNS3
You just need to twist the configuration on the CSR1000v, LAN interface.
Something like below. Have tried in trunk from the switch, can see the frame with VLAN TAG on wireshark, but the CSR doesn't recognise it. Not many post on internet about it. Seems bug CSR. No big deal, go with config below. Still good to enjoy OTV and see how that works with Wireshark behind.
\\CSR
interface GigabitEthernet2
no ip address
service instance 10 ethernet
encapsulation untagged (-->>>>> CSR is not able to detect trunk Dot1q!! so here we use “encapsulation untagged”)
rewrite ingress tag push dot1q 10 symmetric
bridge-domain 10
\\SWITCH
int eth0/0
switchport mode access
witchport access vlan 10
\\ABOUT THIS LAB
Have used IOU L2 (GNS3 VM) and VPC station on both ends to generated packets.
The LAB is a bit tricky, you need to dig a liltle on the interface, to inter-connect them together. I am using workstation. And add a cloud (GNS3) that connect your PC to your CSR, to remote acces to it with your favorite "Putty" or "SecurCRT" whatever you use.
See picture enclosed to show what that looks like.
ENJOY!!
