show install impact command

Hi,

 

I am trying to prepare for an upgrade to our Nexus 7K's.

 

We are on code - 7.2(0)D1(1) 

 

When i run the following command I get an error message which I can't seem to find any info on -

 

 

show install all impact kickstart n7700-s2-kickstart.7.3.1.D1.1.bin system n7700-s2-dk9.7.3.1.D1.1.bin

 

Installer will perform impact only check. Please wait.
Pre-upgrade check failed. Return code -1.

Just for everyone's benefit, we found that this software was affected by this bug -

Tmp directory is full. Once deleted the ISSU command runs correctly.

Greetings.

Your current running version doesn't happen to be a NPE version does it?

Can you post output from your #show ver , specifically the 'kickstart image file is...' and 'system image file is...' lines?

No npe in current kickstart and image file. I have a theory that I may have
downloaded the wrong I’m image for the Sup. We have a second 7K with a
SUP2E and it also gives me same message. I may have downloaded SUP instead
of SUP2E.
