Snapshot backup with VM

I want to ask You could I do snapshot backup on these services and is there any requirements:

CUCM Active Master Version: 10.5.1.10000-7

Unified CM Voice/Video Active Version 10.5.1.10000-7

CCX Active Version 10.6.1.10000-39

TPCUCM Active Version 10.5.1.10000-7

Cisco TP Server Version 4.2(4.18)

Expressway X8.6.1

Hi Michalsabat,

Snapshot is copy of the virtual machine's disk file (VMDK) at a given point in time. Snapshots provide a change log for the virtual disk and are used to restore a VM to a particular point in time.

If these application are running on VM then i dont think it should have any problem in taking snapshot of these images.

As per the informtion i tried to fetch they say "Snapshot is not supported except for Unity at this time"
