VMware Upgrade from 6.7 to 7.0

Hello,

We have an HyperFlex system with 5 nodes HXAF240C-M5SX, HX 4.5(2B), UCS Server FW 4.1(3d) and UCS FI 4.2(1m), Vmware ESXi 6.7.0 U3 (17098360) and VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.0.52000 (19299595).

We are planning to migrate to VMware 7, so we can upgrade the vCenter license directly from our VMware account, however how can we upgrade the ESXi OEM licenses? We have VMware vSphere 6 Enterprise Plus for Embedded OEM, so this license is not registered in our VMware account and I suppose because it's an OEM version we can only upgrade it with our Cisco provider, right? Also, it's mandatory to have a VMware vSphere 6 Enterprise Plus version? or HyperFlex supports also an Enterprise or Standard version?

Thanks in advance,

Omar De Souza.

Greetings.

You might want to take a look at: https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/entitlement_asset_mgmt/docs/MCE_User_Guide_Version_Upgrade.pdf

If your ESXi related items don't show up you might want to open a TAC case with the Cisco Licensing /MCE team.
