Hi,
I am considering refreshing the data center network that currently runs on NXOS in vPC mode to VXLAN BGP EVPN setup.
Currently all my Nexus switches are on layer 2 while the layer 3 routing is on catalyst switches. All my services ( firewall, LB) are also connected to L3 catalyst switches.
I was wondering if it is good idea to setup the vxlan fabric on L2 only and have a couple of external L2 connections to catalyst switches which has L3 and other services.
Any other recommendations that might be helpful.
