VXLAN traffic over VXLAN Multisite is not working

Hi all,

i have attached a file here where it shows a simplified diagram for my DC.

my issue is VM2-Site_2(red) is able to talk to VM1-Site_1(red), but VM-Site_2(blue) is not able to talk to VM1-Site_1(red).

-- keep in mind, this is not ACI, i am configuring the VXLAN manually --

this is a really big deal for me to complete my DC migration process. please let me know what/which config you would like to see i would be more than happy to share.

thanks so much

Look like it's asymmetric IRB, do you have any firewall in between the sites?

For the scenario that VLAN200's VM ping to VM1, can you confirm VM1 can receive the traffic? Since VTEP on site 2 should able to send the traffic to site 1 VTEP.

I assume that the DCI is not an VXLAN fabric. Then, after VM1 received the ICMP request, can you confirm the ICMP reply is routed to site 2 over underlay network?
