What's the BTU of ASA 5505 & SGE 2010p?

Hi,

As per table 8 of the Cisco ASA 5500 Series Adaptive Security Appliances data sheet the ASA 5505 is 72 BTU/hr.

The Cisco SGE2010P 48-Port Gigabit Switch: PoE Data Sheet doesn't specify the BTU of the switch, only that it provides up to 370W PoE power.

To give you a guide I've looked at comparable switches from other platforms i.e., the Cisco Catalyst 3560 Series Switches Data Sheet, and from Table 3 Measured 100% Throughput Power Consumption (with maximum possible PoE loads) we see the Catalyst 3560G-48PS with 370W PoE power specified as 559 BTU/hour.

Hope that helps.

Regards
