X2-10GB-LRM is not working with N7K-M108X2-12L line card in Nexus 7K

                   Hello Everyone,

I'm facing an issue with my Nexus 7010 running on 5.1(3)

Issue :: My N7K has a line card N7K-M108X2-12L installed in it and i need to use X2-10GB-LRM with this line cad.

But this LRM module is not working with this line card. the interface satus says" Ethernet 8/1 is down, line protocol is down"

I have two N7K-M108X2-12L line cards on my N7K box, but the same error i'm getting on the second line card as well.

The data sheet says that X2-10G-LRM will work with N7K-M108X2-12L. When i use X2-10GB-SR with this line card, it works fine...

Have anyone come across such a issue? If so, what's the resolution for this.

Please find below link which is suggesting either to use Single Mode Patch Cable or use

mode conditioning patch (MCP) cables for Transciver X2-10G-LRM.

Between Cisco X2-10GB-SR & X2-10G-LRM there is a wavelength difference.
