Some versions require more than 32M bootflash. Sup2's only support 32M bootflash so the 64M PCMCIA is the only option. Correct?

Correct...!!

Some Supervisor Engine 2 Release 12.2SX images are larger than the bootflash device. Supervisor Engine 2 ROMMON version 7.1(1) or later supports the MEM-C6K-ATA-1-64M= (64 MB) PCMCIA ATA FlashDisk device. Refer to this publication:

the current version of 12.2 SX is almost 49 meg so your only option would be a 64 meg PCMCIA and this would still only hold one version of your IOS .
