Can anyone tell me the spec of the RAM I need to buy to upgrade my 2500 routers from 8mb to 16mb. Had a quick scout on cisco.com but can't seem to find a spec on the RAM itself.
Cheers in advance...

Here you go:
Part#: MEM-1X16D=
Description: Optional 16 MB of DRAM Memory
List$: $1,000
That's some pretty expensive memory, isn't it? As a side note, I upgraded a bunch of 2500 a couple years ago, using Kingston RAM. It is more in line with regular market SIMM prices. I'm very happy with it, as I always have been with Kingston. The exact info on the same SIMMs I used:
Kingston #: KCS-DRAM/16
Mfr Equiv #: MEM-1X16D=, MEM-18M=
Description: 16MB DRAM Module
Warranty: Lifetime
MSRP: $80.00

Try some older Compaq SIMMs (if you have any). I used a 60ns or 70ns chip in a 2501 & 2514 and they worked great. My cost - $0.00 since they are old and outdated many are throwing them away. Hope this helps.
