what is the maximum amout of memory a cisco 2611 can have inside? and how big can the sticks be? can it accept 128mb sticks? or just 64?

First of all Cisco doesnt support non Cisco memory chips, if any trouble happens and you open a case for support.
I have a 2610 with me, which has PC DIMM with 50 pins on either side. I doubt if the PC DIMM with 168 pin will get in there....

2611 (normal) can take only max 64 mb of ram, but you can put 128 on a 2611XM series.

i have heard before that you can put pc memory into a router. i know of some people that have done it and it seems to work fine. would PNY 64MB ECC PC100 SDRAM 8x72 168 Pin DIMM work in a 2611?
