Hi,

I am using a number of 2900XL switches to allow access to network resources. I need to enable port blocking based on MAC addresses, I know how to do this manually via telnet. Due to the amount of ports and the rate or change of users, I need a way to automate this process. SNMP provides support to view the bound MAC addresses, but doesn't seem to allow me to add or change one...

Any help would be much appreciated, I need to be able to apply the solution to a management program I have written, so SNMP or something similar would be a great help!

Hi,

I am also aware of the manual configuration only. However, you can check if SNMP support is available using the MIB locator.
