2948G not remotely manageable

I am sure that this is a simple problem. I have a Cisco 2948G that showed up with a red x through it on my CWSI 2.4 campus map. It's been previously on my map,but now I can't CiscoView it, ping it or telnet to it. It showed up briefly in my Arp table on the 1601 with hardware settings as incomplete. It is linked via a T-1 line, a 1601R (which is on the network)into a AS5300.

IF I console into it locally, it works briefly on my map and then disappears. The users are still getting their DHCP addresses and connect to the rest of our network.

Any ideas?
