2970 and 3750 performance

Hi

The forwarding bandwith for cat 2970 is given to be 28 or 24GBps.

For cat 3750g it is given to be 32 Gbps.

the forwarding rates is 38,7 MPPS for the two .

So which are the differences between forw band and forw rates.?

Are these two catalyst blocking ? (for 24 ports we need 48 Gbps)

does anybody knows How the backplane bandwith is shared between the giga and eth ports for each model?

I think forwarding bandwidth is related to the port density and speeds, and forwarding rates is the backplane speed.
