3005 Concentrator Web interface pwd reset ???

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, I posted same on the VPN forum, but no reply so here goes.

VPN3005 Concentrator. Web interface password stoppped being valid, not sure why. I followed the password reset for this device, press CTRL-C after reboot and all to reset the passwords. This only reset the console password, not the Web interface password. I would like to be able to use the web interface for this box but cannot. Any ideas?

I just got an opportunity to recreate your case under rel.3.5.5 and the password recovery sequence sets userid/password back to admin/admin. If this doesn't work for you change the userid/password via bommand line.

In CLI enter the following command sequence:

2-admin

5-access rights

1-administrators

2-modify admin

admin -> "admin"

modify password

user [admin] "george"

password [******] "qwerty"

verify "qwerty"

Backout all pulldown menus 9/2/5/8/4 (SAVE CHANGES)/6(exit)
