3550-12T Error message

Has anyone seen this error on a 3550 switch:

Nov 16 18:25:54.765: %SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of 1680 bytes failed

from 0x164AD4, alignment 0

Pool: I/O Free: 2172 Cause: Memory fragmentation

Alternate Pool: None Free: 0 Cause: No Alternate pool

-Process= "Pool Manager", ipl= 0, pid= 5

-Traceback= 1ABD2C 1AD358 164AD8 1B933C 1B9584 1CCCD8

I have a customer who is seeing this error and wants to know what's wrong. I expect the switch is U/S but I just want to check if anyone has come across it before.

The switch is running c3550-i5q3l2-mz.121-14.EA1a

It looks like memory full to me.

Can you issue 'show memory' or 'show flash:' command and see ?
