3550-24T CRC error

There is a problem, when I connect Catalysts 3550-24T to Extreme switch with 10-full and any port settings, the connection gives some number of CRC errors.but if replace catalyst 3550-24T with 3524, there is no CRC.

firt i suspected the hardware fault or IOS bug,so reconnected with other catalyst 3550-24T & IOS, but there was same symptom.

also when connecting 3550-24T with 3524 each other, there is no problem.

i can't figure it out.

plz let me know any information about it

I guess the older IOS versions of 3550 IOS have some incompatablity issues, Try upgrading the 3550 to a version later than 12.1(14)EA1 this may solve your problem. refer this link for more

I had tested it with 12.1(14)ea1 & 12.1.(19)ea1. but it had been same result.
