3560 and mdix auto

Somebody knows why if an Ethernet port is configured as mdix auto, this port must be configured duplex auto and speed auto,

Symptom:

When a switch interface is configured for speed auto and duplex full or duplex half, auto-mdix does not work.

Workaround:

Configured duplex auto instead to enable auto-mdix.

This is a known hardware limitation on the cat3750. I believe the cat3560 is also affected by this bug.
