when I use show version command I get 56M memory, but when i use show memomry command i only get 15M memory total, I wonder why? thanks a lot.

Did you try reloading the box ?

the remaining memory would be used as I/O Memory and do revert whether ur taking the Total value displayed in show memory command as the reference ??...
