(a dummy in router)
My 3725 have 2 integrated FE 0/0 and 0/1 and a 16port ethernetNM. PC's connected to the 16port could PING each other but could not PING router through that 16port module. I made the PC's and the router on the same subnet.
I cannot put IP address on any of the 16port because it shows an error that no IP address on L2.
How can I make the 16ports route through the router? The FE 0/0 and 0/1 will be connected to servers and the 16port will act as a switch.
Thank you

You can put the ports in a VLAN - by default they are in VLAN 1.
Then try creating a VLAN interface for VLAN 1, and give it an IP address in the same subnet.
int vlan 1
ip address ....
Then see if you can ping the VLAN1 interface from the PCs
